Pulling Through Water Baths (1994)

Reaction mixtures were placed in a capillary and passed quickly through water baths of three different temperatures. (Place cursor on image to see the schematic). This arrangement was used to study the kinetics of rapid cycle PCR. DNA was often radioactively labeled.
