Hemolysis and Clostridium Perfringens Infection

A 65 year-old male, O+, admitted with a small bowel obstruction for 4 days. Two weeks later presented to ED with abdominal pain, chills, fatigue, etc. Lab reported hemolysis. Imaging showed hepatic abscess and cholecystitis. This presentation will further discuss the patient's labs and findings along with explore hemolysis and clostridium perfringens infection.
