Review of Malaria and Plasmodium Species

This is a basic overview of malaria and the causative agent, Plasmodium species. This lecture will cover the life cycle of the parasite, the species' differentiating characteristics in the human host, and case studies for Plasmodium falciparum. P. ovale, P. vivax, P. malariae.
