Target Audience: This activity has been designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals, specifically medical laboratory scientists.

P.A.C.E.® approved programs are accepted by the ASCP-BOC for recertification, and for license renewal in all licensure states except Florida.

Florida has additional requirements for continuing education that are managed by CE Broker at the direction of the Florida Department of Health, Division of Medical Quality Assurance, Board of Clinical Laboratory Personnel.


Objectives:
  • Define process stability, describe how to assess stability, and describe the steps to take to stabilize a process that is unstable.
  • Define process capability, describe how to assess capability, and, if a process is not capable, describe the steps required to make a process capable.
  • Define a QC plan and process controllability, describe how to assess controllability, and if if a process is not controllable, how to achieve controllability.

Method of Participation: To receive a statement of credit, you must:

  1. Watch the video in its entirety
  2. Successfully complete the video post-test (80% or higher)
  3. Submit certificate completion information
  4. Receive the course evaluation
